Fotografie: Anoek Steketee Symposium: Colonial Nostalgia
The symposium Colonial Nostalgia held at the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam on March 17, 2011 on the occasion of the launch of the museum’s first two publications on the collection: Netherlands East Indies at the Tropenmuseum and Oceania at the Tropenmuseum. Both volumes discuss the Museum’s collections, the context in which the collections were formed, and the history of the museum itself.
