Natalia Giraldo Jaramillo is anĀ anthropologist, researcher and university professor in native philosophies, environmental conflicts and environmental care. Her research delves into the contexts of extractive megaprojects and the armed conflict in Colombia. Currently attached to the legal and socio-legal studies research group of the University of Caldas, she assists in the defence of Decree 1500, a law aimed at protecting the ancestral territory of the four indigenous peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia.
