Tolhuistuin - Amsterdam

The Tolhuistuin is a new multi art complex. It aims to be a free space for arts & culture. The Tolhuistuin consists of six buildings in a parc. The main 4500 m2 pavilion offers a music hall, restaurant, an exhibition space, conference facilities and two dance studio. Several smaller buildings offer workspaces for young professionals in music, visual arts, architecture, design and literature. Rooted in the communities of Amsterdam North the Tolhuistuin will host a widely varied program of music, theatre, dance, visual arts, media and literature. We aim to serve an audience from Amsterdam and far beyond, hospitable and cosmopolitan. In our activities we seek for maximum diversity. Boundaries are there to be crossed. The THT bar and 250 seat restaurant, among the largest of the city is open from early morning to late at night, just like the beautiful park along the water.
