Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam
Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam is a botanical garden in the Plantage district of Amsterdam, the Netherlands founded in 1683. It is one of the world’s oldest botanical gardens. It consists of an outdoor garden and 5 greenhouses with various climates and collections. The collection is famous for some of its trees and plants, some of which are endangered. Well-known plants and trees can be found there, like the Persian ironwood tree.
