Monet Barraza Madariaga is a political scientist and textile artisan residing in Amsterdam. She uses textiles as a language, with a focus on embroidery and textile recycling, especially through Arpilleras. Together with artist La Javi Textil, she is part of the textile collective Warmi Küyen, based in Amsterdam New West.
