Peace Wind is a peace movement that was initially formed to oppose the 2003 Iraq War and the participation of ROK troops in the war. Peace Wind works with communities in the Republic of Korea to struggle for peace. Since 2011, Peace Wind has actively participated in resisting the Jeju Naval Base in Gangjeong Village, Jeju Island, thereby establishing solidarities between the Gangjeong and Gunsan campaigns and strengthening the peace movements more widely. Additionally, by establishing the Gunsan Peace Museum in 2021, they continue to make known the history and present of the US military base in Gunsan since Japanese colonial times.

평화바람은 2003년 이라크 전쟁과 대한민국의 이라크 파병에 반대하며 결성한 평화운동단체로 한국 사회 곳곳, 평화가 깨지는 현장에서 함께 살며 투쟁해왔다. 2011년부터 제주 강정마을 해군기지 반대운동에 결합해, 강정과 군산을 오가며 평화운동을 지속해 오고 있다. 2021년 군산평화박물관을 개관해 일본 제국주의 시대부터 이어져온 군산미군기지의 역사와 현재를 알리는 중이다.
