The Hmm is an inclusive platform for internet cultures. Through events, online editorials, expert advice, and educational programs, The Hmm reflects on people’s online behaviour, the latest internet trends, the mechanisms behind Big Tech companies and their impact on society.
The Hmm is a platform for internet cultures, founded by Evelyn Austin and Lilian Stolk in 2016 and is based in Amsterdam. Since The Hmm’s start in 2016, over 250 (young) makers and thinkers have shared their stories, work or fascination on The Hmm’s offline stage. Guest programmers are helping put together a program and The Hmm is inviting writers and artists for editorial contributions to their online dossier.
