Sandra Ramzy is an Egyptian writer who is currently exploring places where absurdity and reality meet. Through her work with Salwa Foundation she is collaborating with Framer Framed for the series of reversed reading rooms, Basket Case.

Studying Political Science was one way to satisfy her curiosity about the way the world works and how societies function but that only created more questions, most importantly how to create organic, genuine and sustainable change? She studied International Development as another way to get some answers but in the end, working with communities and local organizations was how she really learned and grew. Ramzy moved to Amsterdam in December, eager to widen these horizons and learn from/with different communities. She believes that stories bring people together; they can inspire empathy, kindness and love. Her dream is to write stories that have an impact and shape lives in small but powerful ways.
