Liana Al Ghusain Liane Al Ghusain
Liane Al Ghussain is a writer, teacher and cultural organizer from Kuwait. She received her BA and MA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Stanford University. She continued her studies at Ashkal Alwan in Beirut, working on art, technology and performance in her postgraduate training. She taught creative writing and served as the director of the Contemporary Art Platform in Kuwait during its first year, from 2011 to 2012.
Liane Al Ghusain was a participating artist in the exhibition Crisis of History #3: Beyond History at Framer Framed, curated by Elham Puriyamehr and Robert Kluijver, from 15 March to 5 May 2015. She is currently running The Scribes, an online platform for creating Arabic, English, and French written content.
