Soph Boobyer

Soph Boobyer (she/they) has a mediating practice focused on the proximities and gestures produced between bodies in space, advocating for more multi-sensory registries and presentations of knowledge. Through a combined curatorial and craft praxis they use talking, listening, writing, making, [re]using, altering, disrupting, gathering, inviting, and visiting to consider eco-critical and -feminist contexts. Recent work includes acting as Curatorial Research Fellow for ‘Soils Project’ with Van Abbemuseum and Frame Finland (April-June 2024), and participating in De Appel’s Summer School Programme (July 2024).
