Liesbeth Bik

Liesbeth Bik works together with Jos van der Pol as Bik Van der Pol. Based in Rotterdam,  their practice aims to articulate and understand how art can produce a public sphere and space for speculation and collective imagination. They have shown their work widely at numerous institutes, biennials and museums and are a participating artist in the Framer Framed exhibition, The One-Straw Revolution.

Liesbeth is a core-tutor at Piet Zwart Institute (Rotterdam), and current chair of the Akademie van Kunsten/Academy of Arts that is part of the Dutch Royal Academy of Science (KNAW).
