Perdu is a literary foundation based in the centre of Amsterdam. It specializes in poetry and the crossovers between literature and art. Perdu focuses on theoretical reflection and innovative developments in the field of literature. Especially, the aspects of literature that remain underexposed within the mainstream literary scene by giving them special attention.

Perdu organizes literary events called De Avonden [The Evenings] and workshops in creative writing. It furthermore owns a specialized poetry bookstore and a small publishing house. Perdu also offers its theatre for rent.
