Framer Framed stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people
As a cultural institution working with and through decoloniality, we recognise the importance of countering ongoing occupation and violence – both in Palestine and beyond – and the liberty to reclaim one’s cultural narrative.
That time of reclamation is now—and demands the outspoken and active solidarity of organisations and individuals internationally. We see and stand against Israeli-government violence and the silencing of Palestinian people, their history and memories.
We firmly stand beside our fellow Dutch art institutions, including De Ateliers, BAK, Casco Art Institute, Sonsbeek and the Dutch Art Institute, and endorse the statement first published and disseminated by the Graduate Gender Programme & Netherlands Research School of Gender Studies Utrecht University, The Netherlands.
