Mariana Fernández Mora (she/her) is a researcher, writer, and artist with a background in architecture. She is a researcher at the Visual Methodologies Collective (AUAS) and the Algorithmic Cultures Research Group (Sandberg Institute). Her work explores how technology shapes knowledge production, operating at the intersection of art, research, and AI. In 2024, she initiated Slow AI, a project that critically engages artificial intelligence through slowness and decolonial perspectives. Her book Dear Machines (2022), an experimental thesis on co-writing with AI, is held in national and international collections. Recent work was exhibited at MU, Eindhoven, including Robot Assistant (2024).
