Soeng Joeng Toi (SJT) is a platform-dependent and synergic project initiated in 2016, officially founded in 2017. It stems from the needs of artists for mutual perception/practice space, and this requirement has been tested in the “Banyan Travel Agency” project.

SJT is located in Changgang subway station, Haizhu District, close to the Xiaoyuan Village. Embedded in an inhabitant community, where traffic and daily life is very convenient, can not only share the function of HB station as a daily function/ practice place, but also promote a more cordial mutual inspiration and cooperation experience. Unite is the keyword to SoengJoengToi. We hope that from artists, writers, curators, integrated executioners, talents from different areas can resonate, and this effort means to select beyond habits, a mechanism which is an operation, organization and decision-making of practice itself, also means to invent other ways to break through inherent imagination, so that “SoengJoengToi” can be an organic organism to continue to link and release its own energy.
