Michael Tedja

Michael Tedja was born in 1971 in Rotterdam. He studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam from 1991 to 1996 and after that at the Sandberg Institute Amsterdam until 1998. In 2001 he received the Charlotte Köhler award. He has had solo exhibitions in e.g. the Cobra Museum for Modern Art in Amstelveen (2013), Galerie Nouvelles Images in The Hague (2013 and 2007), Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (1999) and Locust Projects in Miami, Florida. He has also participated in group exhibitions in places like The Hague, Utrecht, Arnhem, Brussels and several cities in South Africa.
