Kasih Karunia Indah

Kasih Karunia Indah is a student who is passionate about music and illustration. She received classical piano lessons from Sari Badudu, and learned musical composition and conducting under the guidance of Fauzie Wiriadisastra. In addition, she has a keen interest in drawing and is mostly self-taught. Kasih finds inspiration for her work in paradoxes and ironic things. Currently, Kasih is pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Integrated Arts – Parahyangan Catholic University in Bandung (UNPAR). Kasih’s debut performance in an orchestral form was at Parchestra’s concert titled Kizuna.

Her performance Het komende geslacht zal U prijzen: Archiving and transforming Paul Seelig’s echoes from the colonial era – was a lecture concert about European composer Paul Johan Seelig at the exhibition Sensible Past: Of Distances and the Fabrication of the Frame, a collaboration between Framer Framed, KITLV and the Integrated Arts – UNPAR.
