Hicham Bouzid is creative director of Think Tanger, a hybrid cultural organisation that combines multi-disciplinary design practices, social innovation, and research based in Tangier, Morocco. His practice is focused on examining the complex dynamics of Morocco’s urban and social landscapes under neoliberal policies, and his 13-year career has included collaborations with various cultural institutions and foundations worldwide. Hicham initiated the MAKAN Journal of Culture & Space as part of Think Tanger’s portfolio during the pandemic in 2020.
