Mayada Madbouly Mayada Madbouly
Mayada Madbouly is a sociologist specializing in the making of memories and heritage work in the Middle East and North Africa. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Departments of Contemporary History and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Groningen.
Her research interests analyze heritage and memory work, social movements, racialisation, and storytelling in the Modern MENA region. She lectures on political sociology, cultural studies, international relations, and culture and soft power in the MENA.
