    Workshop: Fragments of Time Otherwise

On 1 November 2026, Framer Framed hosts the workshop Fragments of Time Otherwise, organised by Ariana Rose and Tracian Meikle. The workshop, focussed on collage making, is a gathering for Black women with ADHD and/or autism to make, reflect and connect.

Through conversation and collective reading, the afternoon explores different ways of understanding time, including non-linear, spiral and ancestral time. Collage making is used as a way to imagine other ways of being in time that meaningfully impact physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Collage making as a creative method allows participants to work with fragments, which for many neurodivergent people is a more natural and accessible way to process. Collages encourage wandering and intuition, especially when used it as a way to practice a different relationship to time by allowing space for what wants to emerge, rather than moving toward a goal.

No collage experience is necessary. Both participants with and without a formal diagnosis are welcome to join. Collages made during this session are included in a collaborative zine (with the option to opt out).
