
Lenn Cox
Lenn Cox is a community organizer, artist, educator and program maker. Lenn explores solidarity economies by immersing herself in self-organised learning-working-living environments. Many with an eco-feminist and queer heart. Lenn initiates and organizes relational spaces and structures that facilitate collective learning. While engaging navigation cards and clothes as correspondence to transfer the exchanges she collects as topics of conversation.
Lenn is a member of Collectief Z o m e r e n, exploring with fellow cultural workers what it means to have a collective practice at this moment in time. She is a member of the Community Economies Research Network (CERN), an international network of researchers, activists, artists and practitioners who are interested in ways of enacting diverse economies. As linen steward, she learned how to grow, process and craft with a group our everyday textiles and garments by hand, with commoning as a guiding principle. Lenn coaches students and artists, works as a program maker for multiple art spaces and cultural organizations in the Netherlands. Besides Lenn is a board member of Broodfonds Arnhem. A ‘bread fund’ is a voluntary collective of 20 to 55 self-employed who support each other financially in case of sickness for up to two years.
