Sandra Khzam
Sandra Khzam is an emerging visual artist and cultural practitioner with a passion for storytelling and community healing. Her photography has been showcased internationally at Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia, Italy, Syrian nest fait, Paris and Kafou Collectivo, Berlin. She was featured in the award-winning documentary My Memory is Full of Ghosts by Anas Zawahri.
Sandra founded ‘Harmony Clubs,’ a peace building initiative in Homs that brings together people of all backgrounds through book, English, cinema, and volunteer clubs.
Additionally, she won Prince Claus Seed Award for emerging artists and cultural practitioners.
Motivated by a deep sense of responsibility towards her community and a desire for inner peace, she strives to create safe spaces and explore humanitarian issues through her art. Sandra seeks to enhance her practice by acquiring essential tools to deepen her impact and reach.
