Waew (full name: Jeeraphat Voraphotmuangman) was born (1985) in Bangkok, Thailand. For the last 5 years, Waew has been traveling to Eindhoven, where she started cooking Thai food and developed “The Waew Food Programme”. She loved the cultural experience and realised that the integrity of “Thai food” had been compromised over time by economic and cultural influence. In the first edition of the WFP (in collaboration with Lucas Maassen) they explore several personal and political topics at Wall Street Eindhoven (Centre for art, food, and alternative economics). The WFP is not just about food, it’s about value! It advocates an economical model more based on subtle values and less based on money.
