Papaya Kuir is a lesbotransfeminist collective of Latin American migrants and refugees residing in the Netherlands. The collective operates with three pillars of work: advocacy, participating in anti-racist and anti-patriarchal discussion panels, and denouncing issues that threaten the community; emergency response, managing an emergency network for individuals requiring assistance in their migratory, gender, or sexual transit processes; and community building, initiating cultural and artistic projects such as queer cabarets, workshops, and parties to foster a sense of belonging and stimulate processes of social transformation within the community.
