Kees Stad / Hudig is an activist from Amsterdam with a particular focus on movement history and media activism. He is the editor of globalinfo.nl. Between 1980 and 1982, Hudig studied political science at the University of Amsterdam. Rooted in activist circles, he joined the editorial board of the squatters’ magazine Bluf! in 1984. Five years later, he co-founded the alternative publishing house Ravijn. In 2000, he began working with the XminY Solidarity Fund –an organisation dedicated to grassroots initiatives for structural economic, political, and social change. Hudig remains closely involved with the alter-globalist movement.

Hudig was part of the research team for the Framer Framed exhibition’s The Court for Intergenerational Climate Crimes (2021) and Past Disquiet (2025).
