Angelica de Freitas is the Institutional Director of Instituto Cura – Circuito Urbano de Arte, a platform that connects urban art with cities, communities, and territories. At Instituto Cura, she leads institutional partnerships, strategic planning, fundraising, and international outreach, strengthening the organisation’s role as a national and global reference in urban art.

De Freitas is a lawyer with human rights, conflict resolution, and strategic planning expertise. She holds a PhD in International Law and Development and an LLM in Dispute Resolution. She has worked as a contract manager in energy and mining projects and as a senior lecturer at the University of Westminster. In the non-profit sector, De Freitas has managed award-winning projects supporting local organisations, income generation, and women’s empowerment.
