Solidarity Poster Printing - by Leaky Press

Join us on 14 May 2025 for an afternoon of Solidarity Poster Printing at KIOSK Rotterdam! We will come together to create posters inspired by past and present movements for justice and liberation. Drawing from the exhibition Past Disquiet at Framer Framed, we’ll explore the radical potential of printmaking as a tool for collective resistance. This workshop invites participants to think through the history of print culture in building solidarity across and against borders.

How do we speak out against displacement, oppression and genocide through printmaking? How can we use image and language to show our solidarity across struggles and call for action?
During the workshop, you’ll design and print your own A3, two-colour risograph poster using the tools and materials of Leaky Press, a publishing practice rooted in redistributing resources, repurposing materials, and working collectively.

There are limited spots for this workshop.
Please RSVP via email to info@kioskrotterdam.com to reserve a place.

Solidarity Poster Printing is part of a recurring workshop by Leaky Press, initiated by Philippa Driest. Her artistic practice deals with maintenance and distribution. In her work she explores different sites of contamination and leakage through publishing, performance and multi-media research installations.
