    Yorely Valero

Yorely Valero (Bogotá, Colombia, 1992) is a visual artist whose work is based on daily life as a field of research. Her practice is rooted in the observation of routines, recurring spaces, journeys through the city, customs, etc. These interests are not only about observation itself but connected to associations she makes between those scenarios and other areas of knowledge. Her work is an exploration of how some fundamental science concepts —as time, space, natural phenomena, light or physics— and life in general can touch each other in everyday situations. Her practice involves different techniques, in which video, film photography and installation are dominant. She was a part of the exhibition HERE/NOW at Framer Framed in Amsterdam (2019)

She lives and works in Bogotá
