Lana Jelenjev

Lana Jelenjev (she/her) works in the intersection between learning and community. As a community alchemist, she supports organisations in designing purpose-driven, healing-centered and transformational communities. Her work as a senior learning design strategist is in service of companies, and organisations that are aware, appreciative and advocate of systems thinking, designing for change, and intentionally crafting learning experiences that are steeped in deepening practice and integration.

Lana’s work resides mostly in the dreaming, designing and illumination of new systems. She promotes healing as a transformative pathway for societal change. Lana believes relationships are not built only on trust, but are also nurtured by mending the gaps in between through decolonization, healing histories, and cultivating safer and brave spaces for people to find each other as our kapwa (Filipino psychology that refers to our shared humanity). She believes in pakikipagkapwa, which in Filipino means our shared inner selves.

Lana: “The communities I am part of are my places of refuge. As a Filipina in diaspora, I had to learn how to find “my people”, cultivate and nourish relationships and also how to be a space of refuge for others. What started as an inner exploration became a core practice”.
