    Juan Obando

    Juan Obando is a Colombian artist working between Colombia and the United States, where he is an Associate Professor in the School of Art at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, Arizona State University (Phoenix, AZ). He holds a BA in Design and Architecture from Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) and an MFA in Electronic and Time-Based Media Art from Purdue University (West Lafayette, Indiana). Obando works across video, installation and digital media to examine contemporary image systems and their links to power, propaganda and globalisation.
