Open Call: Workshop Post-Tyranny Tech & Digital Independence
On 23 April 2026, Framer Framed hosts a workshop session by Post-X Society focussed on digital autonomy in the workplace. This session demonstrates ways of working independently from ‘Big Tech’ software such as Microsoft 365 or Google Drive.
During this workshop Post-X Society (PXS) explains in detail how to operate digitally independently, with an introduction to alternative software such as NextCloud, LibreOffice, Matrix, Listmonk, Pretix and more, while making honest considerations about the time, money and perseverance involved in departing from Big Tech. This workshop is intended for anyone who wants to turn their ambitions of working without Big Tech tools into action or share their own experience, freelancers, small business, cultural workers, activists, techies and non-techies alike. Participants don’t need to be an IT specialist, just be willing to learn and experiment!
Since their founding, PXS has adhered to the Free Libre Open Source Software First (FLOSS First) principle. They strive to use open software first in all their work, on their own servers, and under their own terms.
