
Prince Frimpong
Prince Frimpong is a genderqueer Ghanaian video artist, feminist, and intersectional advocate passionate about storytelling, justice, and community. Based in Accra, Prince uses film and performance art to Africanise queer voices and challenge erasure. As Executive Director of the Youth Initiative Foundation, they work to uplift LGBTQI+ youth and champion their inclusivity in the movement for change.
Their journey with 75 SHOTS Pocket Cinema shaped their bold visual style, and their work has been showcased internationally, including at the McCord Stewart Museum and Centre Culturel Georges-Vanier in Montreal. Prince believes in the power of visual storytelling to reshape and reimagine new possibilities for queer liberation in Ghana.
