The Akademie van Kunsten (AvK) is a Dutch organization of which prominent artists from various disciplines, including architecture, visual arts, dance, film, photography, literature, music and the performing arts, are members. The aim is to be the place for debate about the value of art in society and the relationship between art and science.

The Akademie van Kunsten was founded in 2014 by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and SciencesBoth are located in the Trippenhuis in Amsterdam. In 2022 the AvK had 76 members. The members of the  Akademie van Kunsten are elected on the basis of nominations. Anyone can annually nominate leading artists from all disciplines who have distinguished themselves on the basis of demonstrable artistic achievements for membership.
