Framer Framed is a wonderful place for an interesting internship in the cultural sector. It is possible to work on your own research topic related to Framer Framed and at the same time assist within one of our teams. We offer internships in education, production, communication or at our Framer Framed Noord location. The current vacancies are listed below.

Communication & PR

Do you have a passion for contemporary art, are you involved in social issues and are you interested in communication and PR? Are you a skilled writer and do you enjoy creating creative content, such as writing texts, conducting interviews or designing social media content?

Then Framer Framed is the perfect place to gain work experience in various fields: art, culture, activism, social engagement and research. The organisation is looking for someone who is committed to increasing visibility, both online and offline, in the press and in the local community. There are many opportunities to shape your internship. The organisation expresses itself through publications, articles, videos and podcasts. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic intern to support our communications & PR team.

▪️ Recommended internship length: 6 months
▪️ Minimum availability: 3 days per week

Requirements:
– You have an affinity with art
– You are proactive and independent
– You have a good command of the Dutch language
– You speak English (intermediate)
– A degree in communication is an advantage
– Skills in graphic design or audio and video tools are an advantage

Description:
• You like assisting in the development, preparation and implementation of various marketing and communication activities within the PR team.
• You enjoy writing and editing.
• You enjoy attending exhibition openings and other public programmes.
• You will build and maintain contacts with the (art-related) press, partners and the public.
• You proactively identify and interpret marketing and communication needs within the organisation.
• You are always looking for ways to make as much impact as possible.
• You have an intersectional, decolonial and critical perspective.
