Movementalist consists of the choreographer duo Dayna Martinez Morales and Vincent Verburg. Together they make performances, and installations and organise experiments and interventions in public spaces of which the audience becomes part. They initiate workshops and exchanges with artists and realise contemporary dance theatre performances and productions at home and abroad with artists from different disciplines from all over the world.
For the opening event of Roots Festival at Framer Framed on June 30th 2020, performers Dayna Martinez Morales and Cherif Zaouali will perform a fragment of their show Aceleratio. Aceleratio is an interdisciplinary performance installation that aims to confront the online and offline audience with struggle, freedom, courage and consolation, based on the need to embody this era.
