Berang Arts Organization
Berang Arts Organization, previously known as Roshd Association of Contemporary Arts, formed by a number of finalists of the 2nd Afghan Contemporary Art Prize (2009) works to keep alive the momentum in contemporary arts across Afghanistan; it aims to boost energies through arts to help enrich the new culture in Afghanistan. Berang brings together artists as well as those connected with cultural programs, through workshops, seminars, exhibitions, talks, etc involving Afghans and internationals.
The organization is founded for a broad range of arts: painting, photography, sculpture, installation, music, sound art, graffiti, calligraphy, miniature, video, performance, mixed-media, and more, however mainly focused on contemporary arts.
