Lila Bullen-Smith

Lila Bullen-Smith (Johannesburg, 1995) is a cultural worker living in Amsterdam. Her research practice focuses on the collaborative creation and maintenance of infrastructures and settings that enable the material conditions for ‘commoning’, collaborative knowledge-production and participatory archival practices, constellating around hyper-local, micro-histories. Her current research is concerned with accessing, sharing, and understanding local memory and history through an array of neglected senses, particularly ones that aren’t so easily archived or documented.
