Bart Jan Spruyt is historian, independent author and a conservative thinker.
Spruyt is political columnist for Elsevier magazine, reviews non-fiction for HP/DeTijd magazine and writes columns for Binnenlands Bestuur magazine. He is chairman of the Edmund Burke Foundation and took his PhD in history at Leiden University. He hosts television shows on the TV network Het Gesprek.
