Anna Orlikowska

Anna Orlikowska (b. Warsaw) is an artist based in Amsterdam. She received an MFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago and BFA from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Her work has been presented in international solo and group exhibitions including Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Neuer Kunstverein in Wuppertal, Randy Alexander Gallery in Chicago, The Suburban in Milwaukee, Art Rotterdam, Casa do Povo in Sao Paulo. She was an artist-in-residence at Fonderie Darling in Montreal, Residency Unlimited in Brooklyn and LES Studio Program in New York. She was awarded with prizes and scholarships such as Mondriaan Fund Young Talent, Clare Rosen and Samuel Edes Foundation Prize for Emerging Artists Finalist Award, Adam Mickiewicz Institute Fellowship, Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds, as well as Full Merit New Artist Society Fellowship, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been featured in magazines such as ArtReview, Contemporary Lynx and Museumtijdschrijft.
