Presentation: Where Amsterdam and art meet

For this edition of the Bredewegfestival, the cultural neighbourhood festival in Amsterdam East, Let’s Art and Framer Framed have joined forces.

In the project Where Amsterdam and art meet, artists and local residents from Amsterdam East engage in dialogue about their neighbourhood: what they like, what could be improved, and what they hope for the area. These encounters have given rise to new stories. The artists and local residents translated their conversations into their own creations. The resulting work is on display in the project space at Framer Framed from 28 April to 17 May 2026. Let’s Art is a platform for creative workshops in Amsterdam, founded by Carien Wernsen.
