Pieter Paul Pothoven

Pieter Paul Pothoven (1981) works with installation, film, photography, different forms of writing and archiving. He received his BFA at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and his MFA at Parsons The New School for Design, New York (US). His recent exhibitions include: Every Act of Struggle, De Appel, Amsterdam (NL); True Colors, Kunstmuseum Den Haag, The Hague (NL); Zaak no: 2108/85, Artissima, Torino, (IT); The Other Kabul, Kunstmuseum Thun (CH); The Weight of a Stone, blank projects, Cape Town (SA); and In the Presence of Absence, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam (NL). He lives and works in Amsterdam.
