Akademie Minerva

Academie Minerva is an art academy, one of the eighteen schools within Hanze University of Applied Sciences, and is led by Dean Dorothea van der Meulen. Minerva Art Academy consists of three parts: Visual Arts and Design (BKV), Frank Mohr Institute, and Minerva Academy of Pop Culture. Academie Minerva is a tolerant and open, international learning community, a community that is at the heart of society.

Academie Minerva offers a broad and diverse study programme at several locations, with four bachelor programmes with a strong identity and finding each other in joint components. Designers, visual artists, art teachers, and performers work together in project weeks, external assignments, research and innovation workshops, exchange programs, and the OffCourses. They meet in studios, workplaces, and in fourteen extensive workshops.
