Uitmarkt Uitmarkt
For 45 years, the Uitmarkt in Amsterdam has marked the national start of the cultural season. Uitmarkt presents national art and cultural offerings for the coming season and celebrates the enormous quality and diversity of art and culture. The event takes place on the last weekend of August on Museumplein and Leidseplein in Amsterdam and is broadcasted nationally.
This year’s Uitmarkt has three parts: Uitmarkt: in Concert, Uitmarkt: the Cultuurtuin and Uitmarkt: on Location. The Uitmarkt is organized by XSAGA Festivals, on behalf of Stichting Uitmarkt.
