Martina Angelotti

Martina Angelotti is a curator and writer based in Milan. She is currently curator of visual art and culture at Fondazione Antonio Ratti (Como), where she carries out a long-term program investigating the relationship between artistic and ecological practices. Since 2007, she is artistic director and cofounder of ON (Bologna), a project dedicated to the relationship between art and the public sphere. From 2014 to 2020 she was artistic director of Careof (Milan). Angelotti lectures widely and teaches seminars at the Università Cattolica di Milano and Università Iuav di Venezia. She has published essays and edited artist monographs for Mousse, NERO, Treccani, and Postmedia Books. Recent publications include Beyond Archive (2020) for Edizioni di Comunità and the 2023 Italian translation of The Inheritance, a graphic novel by the anthropologist and artist Elizabeth Povinelli, for Meltemi.
