Shraddha Borawake

Shraddha Borawake is a lens-based artist from Pune, Maharashtra, India. For over a decade, her work with photography has had an interdisciplinary approach. Shraddha is a graduate of the Gallatin School of Individualised Study, New York University (2012) and has a diploma from International Center of Photography (2006), her interest in art spans from photography, filmmaking, animation to socially engaged practices and community building. Her photographic works have been exhibited in New Orleans Photo Alliance, Union Docs, Zimmerli Arts Museum- NJ, Highline Ballroom, DUMBO Arts Festival Brooklyn, Pune Biennale. She is a recent recipient of The IHC Fellowship – Photosphere: The Road Ahead (2016). This project has been exhibited in India Habitat Center, and Jor Bagh Subway station, New Delhi. She is currently enrolled in The Piet Zwart Institute Master of Fine Art program in Rotterdam as a nominee of the Netherlands Fellowship Program, and a recipient of the Holland Scholarship, in the Netherlands.
