Alessandra Vaccari is an Associate Professor at the Iuav University of Venice, where she conducts research and teaches in the field of fashion history and theory. With a background in contemporary art history, her work operates at the intersection of visual studies and design history. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on fashion and modernism in early 20th-century Italy and Europe, the relationship between time and fashion, and contemporary fashion cultures in relation to social and environmental change.
