HERE/NOW: Current Visions from Colombia presenteert hedendaagse kunst en fotojournalistiek van twintig kunstenaars uit Colombia. De tentoonstelling verkent de reacties van deze kunstenaars op het verschuivende culturele, sociale en politieke landschap van een land getekend door een 60 jaar durende geschiedenis van gewapend conflict. HERE/NOW werd deels gepresenteerd bij Framer Framed, met een focus op hedendaagse werken, en deels bij Beautiful Distress House, waar fotojournalistiek een belangrijkere rol speelde.

HERE/NOW: Current Visions from Colombia features twenty artists presenting contemporary art and photojournalism created in the context of Colombia. The exhibition explores these artists’ responses to the shifting cultural, social and political landscapes of a country scarred by a 60-year-long history of armed struggle. HERE/NOW was presented partly at Framer Framed, with a focus on contemporary works, and partly at Beautiful Distress House, where photojournalism played a more significant role.
