Vlad Lavrov

Vlad Lavrov is a staff writer at the English-language publication Kyiv Post and regional coordinator of journalist investigations at Washington-based Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP). On February 22, he was one of the first journalists to get hold of the documents that Ukraine’s runaway president Viktor Yanukovych tried to dump in a lake at Mezhyhirya residence. Along with a group of colleagues he cofounded the YanukovychLeaks project, which aimed at preserving, publishing and investigating nearly 25,000 documents found there.

He presented his research and findings of YanukovychLeaks at the Framer Framed event The Archive: unveiling the present on 17 September 2014.
