Lux is the arts centre of Nijmegen (Netherlands) offering cinema, theatre, lectures and music. Besides programming the most beautiful, surprising and important films in its nine cinemas, Lux offers a balanced program of theater, dance, music, debate, festicals and events.

Lux came in to being after a fusion between cinema Cinemariënburg and debate centre O42. It and was opened by French movie diva Catherine Deneuve, and became the first and largest artplex of Europe. The art house is well known in Nijmegen, the region and far beyond.
